Day 4 of walking
VILA DE COSTELO TO ANCORA
this is about the stage where your body realizes it’s not getting much of a break, and MB is having blister issues big time. We are going to try something new with her boots and hope like hell is helps. If not we are going to have to give her feet a rest
Leaving the town we took to the coastal path and Kyle was with us again. Kyle is a pastor so we figured we were safe for the day, we passed quite a few coastal forts that were built in the 17 th century in order to protect the coastline from pirates, a number of old windmills used for grinding corn still exist and some are even used as home these days

Pretty uneventful today but the walk was pretty and interesting, we walked into ANCORA and stopped for a beer at a beach cafe while we searched for accommodation. Wasn’t much to be had in the way of hostel accommodation, so the three of us got an apartment together, cleaned up, took a stroll along the beach area, then stopped at the best recommended restaurant we could find to pig out on fish, a good end to a good day, now we have to work on someone’s feet/ boots.
